Family Dinner

I absolutely love my cousins :)

I am the oldest by a lot - the oldest cousin (besides my brothers of course) is 13. We all have so much fun together! I love to be a leader to my girl cousins, and I try to be like the older sister that I would have loved to have.

Tonight was family dinner with my Mom's side of the family, and for some reason, all of the adults decided to delegate dish duty to the cousins...definitely not my favorite thing. But when you are with a bunch of awesome cousins, nothing can bring you down! We ended up singing a some of our favorite songs as we blasted through our dishes. Who needs American Idol when we could be singing with soap up to our elbows? Yep, we are pro :)

Another one of our favorite things is to all tell our favorite jokes. During the summer when we eat outside, the girls generally claim the gazebo - the best place of all :) We all sit around the table, enjoy yummy food, and share our favorite jokes and stories - keep in mind that these girls are from about 7-13 in age.

Q: Why does Cinderella not play sports?
A: because she always runs away from the ball!

Q: Why does Tigger bounce around on his tail?
A: so he doesn't step on Pooh!

Q:What is black and white and read all over?
A: a newspaper!

Q: What is brown and sticky?
A: a stick!

and then of course you get the ones that are made up on the spot...
Q:Why is Ashley wearing a black dress?
A: because she wants to be warm!
(yeah....Cami definitely made that one up on the spot!)

Not to mention plenty of blonde jokes - told by blondes of course!

We always have so much fun together, and I am so glad to live so close to so many members of my family so that I can grow up so close to them. They are such cuties!
